Lillian’s Notes on Roadtripping

48 days into our 125 day road trip around Europe, I ask Lillian (5 years old) for her perspective of life on the road. She exudes a lot of energy when answering:

 

What do you think of moving around so much?

LL: It’s fun to stay in different places because you get new bedrooms, new kitchens…it’s just fun.

 

What is it like driving in the car?

LL: Fun. Even when it’s boring at times, it’s exciting because we are going somewhere new and we will get to see new places.

And we have iPads.

I’m excited to go to new countries. Sometimes it’s fun because I get to talk to my mamma and pappa.

You get used to it.

 

What do you miss most about Stockholm?

My friends.

Our house.

 

Are you sad to be traveling?

I’m happy. Sometimes I just forget my friends, forget Stockholm, …
